Change Your Filters For Cleaner Air

Your vehicle depends on clean air in order to function the way that it should. In order to make sure that your engine gets the cleanest air possible, your vehicle has an engine air filter. This filter is specially designed to keep out dirt and particulates from the engine. Your vehicle may also be equipped with cabin air filters. These keep dust and pollen from getting inside the vehicle while you are driving.

The air filter that protects your vehicle's engine should be changed on a routine basis. Plan to have the filter changed every 15,000 to 30,000. You will need to change this filter more frequently if you drive off-road or in dusty areas.

The cabin air filter also needs to be changed on a routine basis. Most experts agree that these filters should be changed about every 30,000 miles. Change the filter sooner if it is particularly dirty.
